“Because there is no interpretation of it, ballet is like playing a classic piano piece. Everything is the same. In jazz there is interpretation, in modern dance, there is a lot of interpretation, in hip hop there is definitely interpretation. But that’s what’s so wonderful about all three.

The more classical dance you know, the more jazz you know, the more modern you know, the better hip hop dancer you will become.

A good ballet dancer will thrive in all forms of dance.”
