Cken Vance is currently the associate chair of the Mathematics Department at Houston Community College-Central, where he has been a professor for over 25 years. Vance has a B.S in Mathematics from Clark-Atlanta University and a M.Ed in mathematics education from the University of Houston.

Clen has performed as a stand-up comedian for over 15 years, working with Paul Mooney, George Lopez, Margaret Cho, Lewis Black and many others.
