DARIAN WARD has received Congressional recognition for her work. Some additional awards include, Excellence in Communication and Leadership-Toastmasters, Citizen of the Month-Houston Defender Magazine, African-American Young Achiever-YMCA, YWCA Outstanding Young Woman, Trailblazer Award, 2002 Influential Woman and World Youth Foundation Leadership Award.

This Fox Diversity Fellow has worked professionally with companies such as Shell, Air Liquide, Travelocity and Microsoft as well as organizations such as UNCF, Texas Southern University, St. Thomas Univeresity and Houston Minority Business Council.

Darian is an active member of the Houston Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists. She is happily married to photojournalist Byron Nichols.

A television and radio personality and motivational speaker with over 20 years of experience with FOX, CBS, NBC, and BET in Houston, Minneapolis, Atlanta and Milwaukee.
